Very recently, I discovered the "Melleefresh Vs deadmua5 at Play" CD, and I ordered it. It arrived today and I played it immediately. Needless to say, I'm a deadmau5 fan. Well, this is quite a good deadmau5 recording, but quite unlike his others. It's much more uniform from song to song and they all have a rough similarity. I like it. There's a strong, throbbing beat and deadmau5 assumes a backdrop to supply the music for vocalist Melleefresh without being overly intrusive. The arrangements are quite nice, and the Melleefresh vocals mesh gloriously with the deadmau5 backdrop to supply some glorious songs. "Hey Baby" is my favorite, but the others follow closely. "Hey Baby" (Mellygasm Mix) comes in second, I should add. I might indicate that "Whispers" and "Sex Slave (Make me Make That Sound Mix)" have little vocals and are mostly deadmau5.It's been posted that the CD has explicit lyrics, and that is certainly true. listen closely. Some of the lines leave no doubt that the song is all about sex and making love. In fact, a couple of the songs would make good background music for adult videos. However, in general, the lyrics are in rather good taste and are actually quite humorous. There's little harsh and vulgar F-speak language, for example. However, Melleefresh is singing about erotic encounters and there is no doubt about that. I find their approach to be delightful, very refreshing and not a bit offensive in any way. Melleefresh has a very alluring voice. I love listening to her and she's an excellent match for deadmau5 music. This album makes for fine listening. The "At Play" part of the title really fits. When I listen intently I can feel the smile on my face. Good Job!Gary Peterson
