I knit hats for the Peg Dolls and crocheted "baskets" with a necklace attached. I tucked the finished gnome babies into the necklace carrier after painting simple eye dots on their faces.The birchwood was smoothly sanded and comfortable to handle. Out of the 50 peg dolls, there were only 3 I needed to touch up with very fine grit sand paper. The acrylic paint I used for the eyes did not bleed into the wood.I thought the Wood Peg dolls was such a fantastic purchase, I have placed another 50 count package into my cart, since they were well received by both children and adults.I bought these for a project that never panned out. My grandkids love them and have even made clothes for them! Fun! Imaginative play!!Loved qualityI used these in making a Chinese Checkerboard for my grandkids. It came out great, they love it!Look pretty uniform and sanded to me! Super excited to use them to make my chess set! Love the man peg doll's shape! Will be adding a layer of gesso though before I begin this project.These are beautiful peg dolls and will be perfect for my project. Unfortunately the package only contained 20, and i ordered 25. That is a significant discrepancy.Perfect size for my mini gnomesWe have now ordered twice from this company on the peg dolls. Both bags had a couple that were misshapen, but overall the quality was good. The wood is very nice and easy to paint on. Would recommend.Great value. Good quality and just the right size for my Kindergarten class. Best deal I’ve found.
