This story is a sequel to other Play-By-Play series novels. The series revolves around a family that lives in St. Louis with 3 children (all adults now). The oldest son is now professional football player (San Francisco), the second son is pro baseball (St. Louis), and the daughter is single-handedly running the family sports bar and restaurant business. This is her story.Jenna's whole life has been spent around sports; she played sports in high school, played all sports at home with the family, now both brothers are in professional sports careers and she has to keep up with the sports actions and stats so she can talk to customers at Riley's, her family's sports bar that she is managing. She wants nothing to do with any man in sports. She gets enough of it through work and family, and she doesn't want to bring sports into her personal life.A pro Ice Hockey player, Tyler, who is new to St. Louis, has been frequenting her bar, and he has his eye on her. She's not his type but he is drawn to her and wants to take her out. He's not `into ` relationships, but he's hot for her. He pursues her until she relents and decides to `scratch the itch', but just for one night. Yep, that one night is never enough. She is told by a mutual friend that Tyler is not `into' relationships, so she thinks `what's the harm' she needs to get him out of her system. So they begin seeing each other and having mind-blowing sex.As the story of Jenna and Tyler unfolds, the reader finds out there is more to Jenna than what you see on the surface. This book has an underlying theme in it, to follow your dreams and don't let fear stand in your way. "Take a shot at having it all".This story was a very enjoyable read, I loved the characters, and Tyler is just about the perfect man ever invented. Could there be a real man who is that understanding and sensitive to others needs? The lovemaking scenes were extremely hot and well written, and the plot will keep you guessing. I love books that try to teach a lesson, while at the same time being entertaining.
