My brother and the same toy chest for 17 years, and it survived him, all of the daycare children, and only gave out after dozens and dozens of kids sitting on the edge of the opening. I ordered the same one for my kiddo knowing they last a lifetime of play. It has great rounded corners, a smooth dip for the kids to reach into, and the lid doesn’t latch or perms a toy attach which is a great safety feature for kiddos who like to hide in things. The plastic is super hardy and it holds a solid number of toys and stuffies for your kiddo to cycle through.I love this toy chest but it has many imperfections.Pros: Lots of space inside. Perfect size. Material is sturdy.Cons: The lid doesn't stay on. Paid for a new one but received one with many scratches on the lid as if it was used. It also has a few small pieces poking out which is dangerous cuz it can easily cut my kids hand if they are not careful as shown in the photo with the red circle. Will be requesting for a replacement since this is obviously a manufacturer error.Overall, love the toy chest so 4/5 but it would be 5/5 if there was no scratches or pieces poking out. The lid not staying put doesn't bother me as much.love this toy box and so does my daughter. the best part is for the price she got to decorate the box with stickers all in all a good buy and definitely recommendSturdy plastic and is exactly what it looks like. One note, the lid pivots in place but is not locked on with hinges so it can be easily removed and/or be dislodged. It's light weight and not particularly dangerous though.Very good size! Would be 5 stars only the lid comes right off when opening it. We just keep it open during the day so they can easily grab.Perfect for what I was looking for, only reason I took a star off was because the lid comes off very easily, which is the only bad part because my toddler won't keep it on!I love it. I can finally clean up without freaking out about all the toys being everywhere lolThe lid comes off really easy on this. I guess that’s okay if you’re kids get in and out of it. Mine don’t do that so if it was properly hinged I think I’d like it a bit more.It’s also smaller than I had hoped it would be. Was delayed two days being delivered but that’s the delivery company’s issue… I’ve read the reviews before purchasing and was aware the lid doesn’t work properly which is true, but for the money spent I think it’s still worth it, if the lid is a little floppy that’s fine for me, I’m just happy there’s a place for the toys now. I do wish there was pink available to purchase but everytime I tried to bring it up it was not an option.The size is perfect and it seems very durable. My only issue is with the lid. As soon as you open it, it comes out of the grooves and falls off. Once the bin is against the wall it falls back into place once the lid is closed again.I don't normally write bad reviews but I felt this was necessary . This came today and as we take it out of the box I thought it was off that it was literally the only thing in the box , no papers, no plastic, no Styrofoam, literally just the toybox . I take it out and it looks dirty in the bottom , then after looking at the lid I find scratches all over it , the lid looks dented, I believe this item was used . Now I'm stuck with a scratch up probably used toybox or I have to go outta my way to return it . I'm very unhappy with this product and do not recommend . I could understand a scratch or two , whatever, things happen , but for it to come completely scratched up and dirty was very disappointing.
